No. OperiX is offline-first by design — the full POS, front desk, and ledger run locally against SQLite. Connectivity is only used for optional extras like UPI, WhatsApp, email and review requests.
The ledger enforces its rules in the database itself: 5 SQLite triggers reject unbalanced vouchers, edits to posted vouchers, and any posting into a closed period. A failing trial balance is a hard error, not a warning.
The interface ships with Noto fonts for Devanagari, Bengali, Gujarati, Gurmukhi, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Ol Chiki and Arabic script.
