Refund Policy

Short version: 7-day full refund on any catalog license that has not been activated on a device. Email us with your Order ID — no questions asked.

1. Catalog software licenses

Eligible for a full refund: any license purchased within the last 7 calendar days that has not yet been activated (i.e., the key has not been bound to a device machine ID).

Not eligible for a refund:

  • Licenses that have been activated on a device.
  • Licenses purchased more than 7 days ago.
  • Subscription renewals already consumed (partial months are non-refundable).
Why the activation cutoff? Once a license key is bound to a hardware fingerprint, the software is in active use. Digital goods in active use are excluded from standard consumer refund rights under Indian consumer protection regulations.

2. How to request a refund

  1. Email hello@abansalsolutions.com with the subject: "Refund request — [Order ID]".
  2. Include your Order ID (from the checkout success page or your purchase email).
  3. We will verify activation status and process the refund within 3–5 business days.
  4. Refunds are issued to the original payment method (card / UPI / net banking) via Razorpay.

3. Custom development projects

  • Deposit (30%): non-refundable once work commences.
  • Milestone payments (40%): if we fail to deliver the agreed milestone within the agreed timeline (with a 14-day cure period), you may request a refund of that milestone payment.
  • Final payment (30%): non-refundable upon delivery acceptance.

4. Hosted & SaaS services

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time and access will continue until the end of the paid period.

5. Exclusions

  • Purchases made with a promotional or discount code beyond 50% off are final sale.
  • Refunds will not be issued for dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described in the product listing.
  • If you experience a genuine defect or bug that makes the software unusable, we will fix it rather than refund — or refund at our discretion if a fix is not possible within 14 days.
